Justice Office Commission Schlotheim

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Schlotheim court was a court and administrative district in the Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt subordinate rule with its seat in Schlotheim . From 1850 it was a court of first instance as the Schlotheim Judicial Office and was incorporated into the Schlotheim District Court in 1879 .

In 1356 the Counts of Schwarzburg-Blankenburg acquired the court from the Counts of Honstein . In 1574 it fell to Schwarzburg-Frankenhausen and in 1599 to Schwarzburg-Rudelstadt. It was a Wettin fief, since 1485 of the Albertine line. The feudal lordship passed to Prussia in 1815 and was replaced in 1819.

In 1424 the Lords of Hopfgarten received the court (consisting of Schlotheim and Mehrstedt ) as a patrimonial court from the Schwarzburg counts. This patrimonial court existed until July 1, 1850. The administrative tasks would then go to the District Office in Frankenhausen via the judicial function on the Schlotheim Judicial Commission. The court district was expanded to include the Straussberg office . The Schlotheim judicial office was subordinate to the Sondershausen district court .

As part of the introduction of the Reich Justice Laws , the Judicial Office Commission was converted into the Schlotheim District Court .
