Gerlint Böttcher

Gerlint Böttcher (* in Frankfurt (Oder) ) is a German pianist .

Life

Gerlint Böttcher started taking piano lessons at the age of 5. She experienced her education u. a. at the "Hanns Eisler" University of Music in Berlin with Renate Schorler . She completed her studies with an excellent concert exam. The pianist u. a. with Georg Sava , Rudolf Kehrer , Bernardringenissen , György Sebők and Michael Wosskresensky .

Gerlint Böttcher is a lecturer at the "Hanns Eisler" University of Music in Berlin .

Appearances

Gerlint Böttcher has already given concerts all over Europe, the Middle East and the USA. She is u. a. Appeared together with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin (or Berliner Sinfonie-Orchester), the Berlin Symphony Orchestra , the Philharmonic State Orchestra Halle , the Philharmonic Orchestra South Westphalia , the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt (Oder) and the Jena Philharmonic .

Awards

Gerlint Böttcher won a. a. first prize at the international chamber music competition "Isola di Capri", second prize at the international music competition in Tortona , a diploma at the international piano competition "Maria Canals" in Barcelona and a diploma at the international piano competition in Cava de Tirreni .

It was funded by the Gotthard Schierse Foundation Berlin.

Recordings for radio and television

Several live recordings of the pianist were broadcast on radio and television at home and abroad. The television documentary “Music without Glamor” deserves a special mention here.

Discography

Gerlint Böttcher has released two CDs so far. Her debut album contains works by Maurice Ravel , Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy , Franz Liszt and Prokofjew . In 2010 another CD appeared with works by Jan Václav Voříšek and Franz Schubert .
