Germain Gigounon (born April 20, 1989 ) is a Belgian tennis player .

Career

Gigounon mainly plays on the ITF Future Tour and the ATP Challenger Tour . On the Future Tour he has won 12 singles and 13 doubles titles so far.

In 2015 he reached the first final of a Challenger tournament, which he lost to Blaž Rola in three sets. He then made his debut on the ATP World Tour in Paris at the 2015 French Open through a wildcard in qualifying . After he prevailed there against Rui Machado , Alexander Kudrjawzew and Alejandro Falla , he lost in the opening round of the main field against Richard Gasquet, who was seeded at 20, in three sets.
