Gernot Gricksch
Gernot Gricksch (* 1964 in Hamburg ) is a German book author , screenwriter , former journalist and film critic .
life and work
Gernot Gricksch writes mainly tragicomic stories from life in a narrative style. In 2009 he published his first children's book The Paulis out of hand . He also worked for the film magazine Cinema from 1990 to 2008 , first as an editor and later as a regular author.
His novel Robert Zimmermann wonders about love was filmed in 2008 by Leander Haussmann under the same title . Gricksch wrote the script and can be seen in a small guest role. Since then he has mainly worked as a screenwriter.
He is a signatory of Contract 18 and has undertaken to only work on film projects in which a. He must authorize all editing of the script and he has a say in the selection of the director.
Gricksch lives in Hamburg, is married and has two children.
