Gherardo Bosio (born March 19, 1903 in Florence , † April 16, 1941 ibid) was an Italian architect , engineer and town planner .

Bosio completed his engineering studies in Rome in 1926 and until 1931 he studied architecture in his native city of Florence . After Italy occupied large parts of East Africa in 1936 , Bosio was commissioned to plan the floor plans of the city centers of Gonder and Dese . In 1939 - during the Italian occupation of Albania - he became head of the central building and urban planning office in the capital Tirana and, as a city planner and architect, had a lasting impact on the cityscape.

Seriously ill, Bosio returned to Italy, where he died in April 1941 in his villa in Florence, working on projects in Albania until the end.

Bosio's architectural style can be assigned to (Italian) rationalism .
