The Ghorband is a right tributary of the Punjjir in eastern Afghanistan .

course

Coming from the extreme northwest of Parwan Province , the Ghorband flows through the province eastward to flow into the Punjjir River at the provincial border, near the city of Charikar . The Ghorband formed the Parwan valley, which is perhaps 500 m wide and several hundred meters deep into the surrounding mountains of the Hindu Kush, where the A77 road also runs.
