Ghulam ( Hindi : ग़ुलाम, Urdu : غلام, translated: slave ) is a successful Bollywood film from 1998 . The film is a remake of the Hollywood film The Fist in the Neck starring Marlon Brando from 1954 .

Siddharth is a petty criminal and boxer. His brother Jai works for the gangster Raunak Singh, also known as Ronnie. Ronnie is respected by everyone as he is known for his crackdown on his quarters.

One day the beautiful Alisha enters Siddharth's life. She comes from a rich family and hangs out with motorcyclists. He immediately falls in love with her. Siddharth also makes the acquaintance of the social worker Hari, whose ambition reminds him of his father. Hari is very committed to the quarter and this is a thorn in the side of Singh and has him killed. Siddharth witnesses this act.

In addition, Siddharth later also learns that Hari was Alisha's brother and after much back and forth decides to testify against the gangsters. Ultimately, the whole truth emerges at the trial.

The hit song Aati Kya Khandala? ( Do you want to come to Khandala? ), Which by the way was also sung by Aamir Khan , made Rani known as the Khandala Girl . This song was also featured in the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham at Yash Raichand's birthday party and was a tribute to Rani, who had a small guest role in the film.
