Gia Oganesiani ( Georgian გია ოგანესიანის ; born September 1, 1989 ) is a Georgian ice hockey player .
Career
Gia Oganesiani made his debut for the Georgian national team in qualifying for the 2013 Division III World Cup . In three games he stayed without points and received four penalty minutes. As a result, he completed the Division III World Championships in 2014 , 2015 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 . In 2018, he was promoted to Group B of Division II for the first time. Oganesiani also played in qualifying for the 2018 Winter Olympics .
At club level, Oganesiani plays for Bakuriani's Mimino in the Georgian ice hockey league .
