concept
The program is dedicated to buildings that stand out due to their innovation and pioneering role. The program addresses the technical, logistical, architectural and economic challenges in planning, construction and maintenance. Interviews are held with experts, computer animations are shown, backgrounds are illuminated and snapshots are shown, including from areas not intended for the public.
Production and publication
The show was produced in the USA from 2008 to 2009. This resulted in three seasons with 20 episodes. Windfall Films was responsible for the production.
The program was first broadcast on April 24, 2008. The German first broadcast took place on October 6, 2008 on National Geographic Channel . Further broadcasts took place on N-tv and Kabel eins Doku .
