Giovanni Maria Zonghi

Giovanni Maria Zonghi (born August 3, 1847 in Fabriano , Province of Ancona , Papal States ; † August 8, 1941 ) was a Curia Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church .

Life

Giovanni Maria Zonghi received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Fabriano and Matelica on June 3, 1871 .

On December 5, 1914, Pope Benedict XV appointed him . the titular archbishop of Herakles and ordered him president of the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy in Rome . The Prefect of the Congregation for Sacred Rites , Antonio Vico , ordained him episcopal on December 27th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop at Westminster , Algernon Charles Stanley , and the bishop of Fabriano and Matelica, Andrea Cassulo .
