Giovanni Mosciatti (born January 23, 1958 in Matelica , Macerata Province , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Imola .

Life

Giovanni Mosciatti received on 6 December 1986, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 31, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Imola. He was ordained bishop on July 13 of the same year by the Archbishop of Bologna , Matteo Maria Zuppi , in St. Cassian's Cathedral in Imola. Co- consecrators were his predecessor Tommaso Ghirelli and Bishop Stefano Russo , Bishop Emeritus of Fabriano-Matelica .
