Giuseppe Natale Vegezzi (born January 30, 1960 in Nerviano , Lombardy ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Milan .

Life

Giuseppe Natale Vegezzi studied at the Ambrosian Seminary and received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Milan on June 9, 1984 through Carlo Maria Cardinal Martini SJ .

After ordination, he worked in various parishes in the pastoral care of the pastor, most recently from 2012 to 2018 as pastor of the parish of San Vittorio in Rho . Since 2018 he has been Episcopal Vicar for Pastoral Care Zone II of the Archdiocese of Milan, based in Varese . He was also active in the training of priests and was responsible for the clergy who gave up their office.

Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Turres Concordiae and auxiliary bishop in Milan on April 30, 2020 . The Archbishop of Milan, Mario Delpini , donated him and the auxiliary bishop Giovanni Luca Raimondi, who was appointed with him, episcopal ordination on June 28 of the same year . Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops emeritus Erminio De Scalzi and Luigi Stucchi from Milan .
