The Gland is a river in France that runs in the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions. It rises in the municipality of Regniowez and generally drains in a westerly direction. In its upper reaches it is dammed several times and water is taken from it via the Canal de la Petite Eau , which is fed to the river Petit Gland , which runs further south . The Gland finally flows into the Oise as a left tributary after 37 kilometers in the urban area of Hirson . On its way, the Gland crosses the Ardennes and Aisne departments .
