Glashütte is a hamlet on the 6592 district road between Schluchsee and Bonndorf in the Black Forest in the Waldshut district .

history

The place belonged to the county of Bonndorf . A glassworks built by St. Blasien in 1611 and closed in 1715 once stood here . Glashütte was divided into two parishes, on the one hand it belonged to the St. Blasien monastery , the other part to the Grünwald monastery and thus to Lenzkirch . In 1868 the residents sold most of their land to the Baden state . He had around 70 hectares of pasture afforested. Glashütte was initially part of the municipality of Gündelwangen . Since 1927 Glashütte has belonged to Holzschlag , which was incorporated into Bonndorf in 1975.
