The Gleirschspitze ( 2317 m above sea level ) is a summit of the Nordkette in the north of Innsbruck . The Gleirschspitze is about one kilometer east of the Hafelekarspitze . The Gleirschspitze can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes on foot via Goetheweg from the Hafelekar station of the Nordkettenbahn .
The Gleirschspitze has had a summit cross since October 10, 1999, and the aluminum construction was made by students from the HTL Fulpmes. It was built by the student association Rheno-Danubia Innsbruck in the ÖCV.
