Glenn Quinn

Glenn Martin Christopher Francis Quinn (born May 28, 1970 in Dublin , Ireland , † December 3, 2002 in North Hollywood ) was an Irish actor .

Life

Quinn grew up in Cabinteely . In his youth he was a drummer in a band. He also took part in theatrical performances. Glenn Quinn moved to the United States in 1988 with his two siblings and mother.

Despite a lack of acting training, Quinn got the role of Mark Healy in the television series Roseanne . He played until the end of the series and achieved a high level of awareness. He was good at hiding his Irish accent.

In 1999 Quinn was part of the regular cast of the first season of Angel . There he spoke a role for the first time with his Irish accent. His character, the half-demon Doyle , died a heroic death in the ninth episode of the first season.

Since music was one of his favorite pastimes, he played drums and guitar. Together with his friend Mark Leeddy, he opened a " James Bond style" club called Goldfingers in Los Angeles .

Quinn had alcohol and drug problems and died of a heroin overdose in December 2002 at a friend's house .

Glenn Quinn was friends with actress Pauley Perrette (better known as Abigail "Abby" Sciuto from the television series Navy CIS ).
