Lists on the subject

The Glock 44 is a semi-automatic pistol in caliber .22 lr made by Glock . This is the first small-caliber pistol from the company, which otherwise focuses on authorities and the military. A larger market is addressed with this model, for example sport shooters and rifle clubs, since small-caliber ammunition is very inexpensive. Due to the small caliber, the recoil is also much lower. This aspect is particularly advantageous for training purposes, since the size of the Glock 44 corresponds to that of the Glock 19 , which is often used by authorities.

production

The weapon is manufactured in Deutsch-Wagram in Lower Austria and was presented to the public for the first time on December 10, 2019.

technology

It has a ten-round magazine and weighs 418 grams without ammunition. Otherwise it has all the characteristics of a fifth generation Glock pistol and the size of a Glock 19 . In terms of shape and handling, however, it corresponds to larger-caliber models and is therefore suitable as a training weapon for the military and police.
