The Gmina Charsznica is a rural community in the powiat Miechowski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village Miechów-Charsznica with 1942 inhabitants (2006).

The Tunel – Sosnowiec railway branches off from the Warszawa – Kraków railway at the Tunel station in the Uniejów-Rędziny district . Other stops at the former are Charsznica and Gajówka. Charsznica was also the starting point for the Charsznica – Kocmyrzów narrow-gauge railway via Miechów , Kazimierza Wielka and Proszowice .
