The Powiat Miechowski is a powiat (district) in the north of the Polish Lesser Poland Voivodeship . He is in the west and south by the Powiaten Olkusz , Cracow and Proszowice enclosed and bordered to the north by the provinces of the Holy Cross , and Silesia .
