The Gmina Choroszcz is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Białostocki in the Podlaskie Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with about 5800 inhabitants.
geography
Choroszcz is about ten kilometers west of the city center of Białystok . One of the waters is the Horodnianka , a tributary of the Narew .
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the Białystok Voivodeship .
structure
The urban and rural community of Choroszcz has an area of 163.5 km². The municipality includes the school offices: Babino, Barszczewo, Czaplino, Dzikie, Gajowniki, Izbiszcze, Jeroniki, Klepacze, Konowały, Kościuki, Krupniki, Kruszewo, Łyski, Mińce, Ogrodniki, Porowosłońo, Kolowosły, Pagrodniki, Porowosłońki, Rogóweły, Rogóńońońonia Kolonia, Rogowo Majątek, Ruszczany, Sienkiewicze, Śliwno, Zaczerlany, Złotoria, Złotoria Kolonia, Złotoria Podlesie and Żółtki.
In addition to the respective location, four school authorities also include another location. These are Dzikie with Kolonię Dzikie , Klepacze with Turczyn , Krupniki with Kolonię Krupniki and Żółtki with Kolonię Żółtki .
