The Gmina Czarna Białostocka is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Białostocki of the Podlaskie Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with about 9500 inhabitants.
geography
The eponymous city is located about 20 kilometers north-east of Białystok. The dense forests of Puszcza Knyszyńska belong to the municipality .
history
In 1962 the village of Czarna Wies received the town charter and the current name Czarna Białostocka. From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Białystok Voivodeship and came to the Podlaskie Voivodeship in 1999.

The urban and rural community of Czarna Białostocka has an area of 206.5 square kilometers and, in addition to the city that gives it its name, consists of the following places with school authorities: Brzozówka Koronna, Brzozówka Ziemiańska, Czarna Wieś Kościelna, Jezierzysk, Karczmisko, Klimorek, Kosmaty Bczczo , Machnacz, Niemczyn, Ogóły, Oleszkowo, Ruda Rzeczka, Wólka Ratowiecka, Zamczysk, Zdroje and Złota Wieś.
