The Gmina Czermin is a rural municipality of the same name in the powiat Mielecki of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name .
history
When Poland was first partitioned in 1772, the area became part of the new Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria of the Habsburg Empire (from 1804). In 1783, in the course of the Josephine colonization, German colonists of various denominations were settled. The colony was named Hohenbach and is now part of Czermin under the name Kolonia . In 1918 the area came back to Poland.
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the Rzeszów Voivodeship .
