The Gmina Dzikowiec (until the end of 2001 Gmina Stary Dzikowiec ) is a rural municipality in the powiat Kolbuszowski of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name with about 1400 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality borders on the urban-and-rural municipality Kolbuszowa in the southeast . The Olszynka River is one of the waters.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the Rzeszów Voivodeship . Until December 20, 1998 the seat of the municipality was named Stary Dzikowiec , the municipality was named Gmina Stary Dzikowiec until the end of 2001 .
