The Gmina Hyżne is a rural municipality in the powiat Rzeszowski of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name .
geography
The municipality is located 15 km southeast of Rzeszów and five km north of Dynów . It has an area of 51 km², 69 percent of which is used for agriculture and 23 percent for forestry.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the Rzeszów Voivodeship .
