The Gmina Osieczna is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Leszczyński of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name ( German stork nest ) with about 2350 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality borders on the district town of Leszno (Lissa) in the southwest . Their area is rich in lakes and ponds.

Other localities in the municipality are Adamowo, Berdychowo, Chmielkowo, Górka, Kopanina, Maciejewo, Nowe Wolkowo and Ustronie.
traffic
The village of Kąkolewo has a train station on the Jarocin – Kąkolewo railway line , which is only partially operated in freight traffic and merges into the Łódź – Forst (Lausitz) railway line . The main town of the municipality never had a railway connection.
