The Gmina Rzgów is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Łódzki wschodni of the Łódź Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name ( German Rzgow , 1943–1945 Lancellenstätt ) with about 3400 inhabitants.

On January 1, 2006, Rzgów received city rights and the municipality its current status.
