The Gmina Skarbimierz is a rural community in the powiat Brzeski in the Polish Opole Voivodeship . The seat of the municipality is the village of Skarbimierz ( German : Hermsdorf ).

Geographical location

The municipality encloses the district town of Brzeg (Brieg) in the north, and borders the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in the east .

Attractions

In the municipality there are some medieval village churches, of which the Gothic parish church of Małujowice (Mollwitz) particularly stands out. The churches of Bierzów, Brzezina, Kruszyna, Łukowice Brzeskie, Małujowice and Zielęcice are part of a regional cultural route ( Szlak Polichromii Brzeskich ) that goes around the city of Brzeg due to their historical wall paintings .

traffic

The Lipki stop on the Bytom – Wrocław railway line and Małujowice station on the largely disused Brzeg – Łagiewniki Dzierżoniowskie railway line are in the municipality.
