The Gohbach rises in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in the urban area of Visselhövede near the district of Dreeßel . From there it runs in a south-westerly direction through the area of ​​the municipality of Kirchlinteln in the district of Verden and to the Verden urban area, where it flows into the Aller in the district of Eitze .
