Dreeßel is a district of the town of Visselhövede in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony . About 74 people live in the village on an area of ​​5.6 km².

Until 1961 Dreeßel had its own school - with a 10-year break from 1938 to 1948 when the Dreeßel children attended school in Odeweg. In 1912 a new school building was built. The primary school students now go to school in Jeddingen and the older classes in Visselhövede.
