Lüdingen is a district of the town of Visselhövede in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony .

Lüdingen is located in the northwestern area of the city of Visselhövede, 8.5 km northwest of the core town of Visselhövede.
Neighboring towns are - clockwise from the north - Riekenbostel , Wittorf , Jeddingen , Dreeßel , Süderwalsede and Kirchwalsede .
history
Since the regional reform, which came into force on March 1, 1974, the previously independent municipality of Lüdingen is one of 15 localities in the city of Visselhövede.

In 1898 an own school was built in Lüdingen, which existed until 1966. Then Wittorf became a school location again.
