The golden yellow sea lavender is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 10 to 40 centimeters. The leaves measure 1 to 5 × 0.5 to 1.5 centimeters. The inflorescence axis is often warty. The spikelets consist of 3 to 5 flowers . The crown is colored yellow or orange. The calyx border is yellow, orange or white.
The flowering time is in July.
Occurrence
The golden yellow sea lavender occurs in eastern Siberia and Mongolia in desert steppes and on salt soils.
