The film Goldregen by director Søren Kragh-Jacobsen is a Danish children's and crime film from 1988 based on a novel by Anders Bodelsen .
action
The four friends Nanna, Karen, Lasse and Jørn find a money box with 811,000 Danish kroner in the forest . The children excitedly wonder what one could do with all that money. It soon turns out that the money came from a mail robbery in nearby Naerum . So they decide to wait and hide the money first.
Since Nanna lost her library card at the point where the robber originally hid the money, the children quickly find it. Soon the four friends are in a game of cat and mouse when a mysterious man with umbrella glasses - the robber - hunts the children and kidnaps the visually impaired Karen.
The children turn to the police . But she doesn't believe the children. And so they decide to solve the case themselves. After a few entanglements, the friends finally succeed in catching the robber and freeing Karen.
criticism
"An exciting, adventurous crime story for children, fast-paced and stylish, entertaining and humorous, brilliantly played and staged."
