Good groove

Good Groove (actually Klaus Löschner ; * 1968 ; † February 22, 2014 ) was a German DJ , musician and label owner from the field of electronic music .

Löschner grew up in Munich , where he was already doing summer jobs at BMG Ariola at the age of 11 .

He worked as a label manager and A&R at the technology labels Harthouse and Eye Q Records , where some of his productions were made. Löschner was also the owner of the Berlin label Frisbee Tracks , on which productions by artists such as Monika Kruse , Patrick Lindsey , Vanguard , Paul Brtschitsch , Roland Casper , Ricardo Villalobos and his own productions were made.

In 1992 DJ Good Groove produced his first track “Keep Me Going On” as Impact , which was released on the Belgian label KK Records. Together with Tommi Eckart he produced the track "Outlaw" on the Harthouse label under the project name Pulse . In 1994 the first releases as Good Groove on Disko B followed . In the same year, Surface Tensions, the first album of the Pulse project was released .

In 1998 the sub-label multiColor recordings was founded, on which artists such as Sieg über die Sonne , Ltd. Noise and Löschner publish their productions themselves.

His remix of the title “Mit viel Glück” by 2raumwohnung , which he produced with Markus Löhr , was sold 150,000 times as part of the remix album “Come together”. The remixes of Señor Coconut's “Smooth Operator” and Wondabraa's “King Kong 500 Times” were both featured in the German dance charts . His track “Funkin 'You” on Frisbee was released on the Leaded (East West) label with remixes by Luke Slater and Voodooamt .

On February 22nd, 2014 Löschner died of a long and serious illness.
