Gorō Kawanami ( Japanese 川 浪 吾郎 , Kawanami Gorō ; born April 30, 1991 in Tsukuba , Ibaraki Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Gorō Kawanami learned to play football in the youth team of Kashiwa Reysol . Here he signed his first contract in 2010. The club from Kashiwa , a city in Chiba Prefecture on Honshū , the main island of Japan , played in the country's first division, the J1 League . The second division FC Gifu from Gifu loaned him from June 2011 to December 2011. After the loan, he returned to Kashiwa in early 2012. In 2012 he won the Supercup with the club . The 2013 season he was loaned to the second division Tokushima Vortis to Tokushima . At the end of 2013 he finished third in the table with Tokushima and rose to the first division. After the loan ended, Vortis signed him at the beginning of 2014. After a game in the 2014 season, he moved to the first division club Albirex Niigata in Niigata in 2015 . At the end of 2017, he had to start the path to the second division with the club. By the end of 2017, he was in Niigata's goal six times. After relegation, the first division club Vegalta Sendai from Sendai signed him in early 2018 .
