Gorazd Robnik (born July 11, 1978 ) is a former Slovenian skier who was primarily active in ski jumping but initially also in Nordic combined .

Career

Robnik made his international debut as a combined athlete in 1996 in the Nordic Combined B-World Cup. At the Junior World Championships in 1998 in St. Moritz , he won the silver medal with the team. On March 21 and 22, 1998, he made his debut as a special jumper at the World Cup in Planica . However, he could not win any points and failed in both competitions in the first round. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Ramsau in 1999 , he started again as a combined athlete and reached 51st place in Gundersen. In 2000 he started for the first time at the Summer Grand Prix of Combined and reached the points in both competitions in Stams and Berchtesgaden and with 12th place in Berchtesgaden his best international position as a combined competitor. From the 2000/01 season, Robnik only started as a special jumper in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . He could not achieve podium places in the following years. He did not succeed in returning to the World Cup team either. On September 2, 2006 he started in Kranj for a jumping at the Summer Grand Prix . With 30th place he won a Grand Prix point and finished the competition in 81st place overall. After two more rather unsuccessful starts in the Continental Cup, Robnik ended his active ski jumping career with a start in the FIS Cup in December 2008.
