The Gorch-Fock-Haus (formerly: Tillesenhaus ) is a small building that was built in 1908 near the gate guard of the Mürwik Naval School .

As with the surrounding buildings, the architect Adalbert Kelm was responsible for the construction drawings. The western as well as the southern side were emphasized by similarly designed pillar gables. The gable roof is partially hipped due to the L-shaped shape of the building. The main entrance is on the south side and was realized by two columns with a canopy, to which a small outside staircase leads. Stylistically it corresponds to the building of the school, but is less multifaceted than the larger commander's villa . The school's radio station was initially located in the building (see Funk- und Telegraphenhaus (Flensburg-Mürwik) ). In the 1920s Werner Tillessen was the school's commander. The building was named Tillesenhaus during or after this period. In 1933 it was converted into a small villa. A Mr. Ihlenburg is said to have lived there in the 1950s, after which it was also called Haus Ihlenburg.

Nowadays, the house serves as an office for the Protestant military parsonage and the Protestant military dean, as well as the Federal Language Office S12, the language service at the Naval School. The small chapel of the naval school is also available to the Protestant military dean. He is also involved in the community work of the Christ Church . The school's Protestant and Catholic military pastors are involved in the school's ethics classes .

The house is now called the Gorch-Fock-Haus. In front of the house is a reproduction of the figurehead of the naval training ship Gorch Fock . This was given to the school on May 31, 1989 by the Navy Officers Association . The Gorch-Fock-Haus is one of the cultural monuments of Mürwik today .
