Life

Primisser, son of the poet and archivist Johann Friedrich Primisser , came from the South Tyrolean Primisser family , attended the University of Innsbruck and was awarded the Dr. iur. Primisser returned from Göttingen in 1812 and on May 27, 1812 was appointed adjunct at the newly founded Reich Archives in Munich . Shortly after he took up the job, he fell ill with an intestinal disease from which he died a short time later. He was buried in his hometown of Innsbruck.
