The Gouët (Breton: Ar Goued ) is a coastal river in France that runs in the Côtes-d'Armor department in the Brittany region . It rises in the northern municipality of Le Haut-Corlay , drains generally in a north-easterly direction and flows into the English Channel after 47 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Saint-Brieuc and Plérin in the Baie de Saint-Brieuc . In the estuary section, the river can be navigated as far as the Port du Légué marina .
