Grâce Zaadi Deuna (born July 7, 1993 in Courcouronnes , France ) is a French handball player who belongs to the squad of the French national team.
Career
Grâce Zaadi started playing handball in Villepinte in 2003. Three years later she moved to Issy-les-Moulineaux . In 2010 she joined Metz Handball . From the 2011/12 season, the backcourt player was part of the squad of the Metz Handball first division team. With Metz, Zaadi won the championship in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, the French League Cup in 2014 and the French Cup in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019. Furthermore, she was in the final of the EHF Cup in 2013 . She has been under contract with the Russian first division club GK Rostov-on-Don since summer 2020 .
Zaadi won the silver medal at the U-20 World Cup in 2012 . She made her international debut for the French senior team on October 24, 2013 in Rouen against Slovakia in a qualifier for the 2014 European Championship . After Zaadi took part in the 2014 European Championship and the 2015 World Championship with France , she won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . She won the bronze medal at the 2016 European Championships . A year later she won the World Cup in Germany . In addition, Zaadi was elected to the all-star team of the 2017 World Cup. At the European Championships in 2018 , she won the gold medal in her own country.
