The Grönbach is a 6.26 kilometer long orographically left tributary of the Salm in the Eifel in Rhineland-Palatinate . The water catchment area has a size of 8.301 square kilometers, the river code number is 267474.

In different sections the brook is named Maarbach , Mühlenbach or Badenbach . A right tributary is the Dormesbach (length about 800 meters, source at about 195  m above sea  level , mouth at about 175  m above sea level ) in Klausen-Pohlbach.

The Grönbach rises northwest of Piesport at about 345  m above sea level. NHN . It then forms the boundary between Klausen (Eifel) and Minheim , flows past Neu-Minheim and Klausen and continues through Pohlbach and past the Pohlbacher Mühle. Shortly after crossing under Federal Motorway 1 , the Grönbach flows out at about 145  m above sea level. NHN on the boundary of Esch and Sehlem in the Salm.
