Grünbichl is a settlement in the municipality of Pregarten in Upper Austria .
The settlement south of the town center of Pregarten developed in the 20th century and consists of planned residential areas for single-family houses and on the edge of industrial and commercial areas. Apartment blocks, leisure facilities such as the outdoor pool and the school were added later. For a long time Königswiesener Straße , which is designed as a bypass road south of Grünbichl, formed a barrier. To the south and west of this street, however, other settlements such as the Satzingersiedlung and Silberbach formed, for which the Königswiesener Straße was provided with bridges and crossings several times.
