The half-hour broadcast covers the following topics in particular: information about plants, gardening advice, the decorative use of flowers and plants, garden design, seasonal planting and general tips for hobby gardeners and advanced users. In a separate channel section, the gardening expert Volker Kugel gives advice on balcony , room and useful plants and garden design. He also visits viewers of the TV program in their own garden, on their balcony or terrace, and gives them practical tips and assistance. In a further section of the broadcast format, the moderators visit various master craftsmen and give tips on floristic work. The herbalist Christel Ströbel is an integral part of the program. It provides information about herbs and shows how to make products or remedies from them, such as teas or ointments . The show received the TASPO Award in 2006 and 2007 .
