Grażyna Syrek

Grażyna Syrek (born January 9, 1972 in Kędzierzyn-Koźle ) is a Polish long-distance runner .

In 2002 and 2003 she became the overall winner of the Dębno Marathon, Polish marathon champion. In 2003 and 2006 she won other national titles over 5000 m , 2005 and 2006 over 10,000 m and 2005 in the half marathon .

In 2002 she was third in the Dublin Marathon and in 2003 fifth in the Chicago Marathon . In the marathon of the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, she finished 41st place.

In 2005 she finished second in the Paris Half Marathon , won the Darmstadt City Run and was tenth in the Chicago Marathon. The following year she finished seventh at the Rotterdam Marathon and came 20th at the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg over 10,000 m.
