Grabovica ( Cyrillic : Грабовица) is a village in Opština Kladovo and in the Bor district in eastern Serbia . The village name is derived from the Serbian word for hornbeam (Serbian grave).
In the village there is a primary school, a Serbian Orthodox Church and a memorial to the fallen partisans in World War II .
geography
Grabovica lies on the right bank of the Danube . The place is located about 19 km southwest of the municipality capital Kladovo. The neighboring village of Velesnica is around 6 km away.
