The Gradental is a right side valley of the Mölltal in the Schober group in Carinthia . It belongs to the community of Großkirchheim . It is traversed by the Gradenbach , which rises from the Gradenkees at 2500 m and flows through the Gradensee at the head of the valley . The catchment area of the Gradenbach is 32 km².

In 2488 m is located on the Gradensee Adolf Noßberger Hut , a mountain hut of PES -Sektion Alpine Club Edelweiss . The Gradensee is cultivated with char, brook char, Canada char and char hybrids. Its color is described as turquoise green.
