Graham Jonathan Zusi (born August 18, 1986 in Longwood , Florida ) is an American football player .
The midfielder has played for Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer since 2009 .
Career
college
After graduating from Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs , Florida , Zusi went to the University of Maryland . There he played college soccer for the "Maryland Terrapins", who played their games in the Atlantic Coast Conference , and scored 28 goals in 89 games. The team won the National Championship for college teams in 2005 and 2008. Zusi graduated from college with a degree in criminal science.

Sporting Kansas City
Zusi came to the Kansas City Wizards via the MLS SuperDraft 2009 , which later renamed themselves Sporting Kansas City. He made his debut on March 21, 2009 against Toronto FC .

On January 21, 2012, he completed his first international match for the USA. He was in the starting line-up against Venezuela. On January 25, 2012, he scored his first international goal.
