Grana is a district of the municipality of Kretzschau in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt .

Grana is located northwest of Zeitz on the White Elster .

history

Grana was first mentioned in a document in 976 .

On January 1, 2010, the previously independent municipalities of Grana and Döschwitz merged with the municipality of Kretzschau to form the new municipality of Kretzschau.

The next train station is Zeitz; Mondays to Fridays (on school days) there are also a few buses that leave the bus stop. The federal highway 180 , which leads from Zeitz to Naumburg (Saale) , runs directly through the municipality .
