The Graubünden route is the national cycle route 6 in Switzerland . It is the only one of the nine routes that has multiple sections. Like the other national cycle routes in Switzerland, the route is marked with red signs.

Sections

  • Chur-Bellinzona
This section is 130 km long. It runs from Chur via Thusis to Bellinzona . The difference in altitude is 1650 m ( with Veloverlad 250 m ), in the opposite direction 2100 m ( 270 m ).
  • Chur-Martina
This section is 152 km long. It runs from Chur via Thusis and St. Moritz to Martina on the Austrian border. The difference in altitude is 2560 m ( 310 m ), in the opposite direction 2140 m ( 680 m ).
  • St. Moritz-Martina
This section has an altitude difference of 930 m ( 480 m ), in the opposite direction 1390 m ( 670 m ).

Veloverlad

A so-called Veloverlad can save vertical meters. When using the suggested bicycle loading system, the inclines that have to be overcome are significantly smaller ( see height information in brackets ).
