Greenmail - the bomb is ticking! is an American action thriller directed by Jonathan Heap and starring Stephen Baldwin and Tom Skerritt . It is about the terrorist activities of an extremist environmentalist.

action

A group of three environmental activists consisting of Scott, Allison and Jeremy search a chemical plant at night to find evidence to bring environmental sins to light and to report them. After Allison is killed by a security guard during this operation and large parts of the production facility are destroyed by an explosion, the police investigation leads to Scott. He will be arrested. But when the bombings on environmental offenders continued during his pre-trial detention, he was released again because he was now considered innocent. The young policewoman and explosives expert Ashley Pryor clings to his heels and the two finally work together. Together they are now looking for the culprit.

Jeremy, the third environmentalist in the league, is still on the run and, during a short visit, comes out to Scott as the originator of the series of attacks that have already claimed five lives. Fortunately, the police can back up data from Jeremy's hard drive at his workstation so that they can find clues about the next attack targets. In the showdown of the plot, Scott has to defuse an explosive charge attached to a cable car gondola as quickly as possible before the gondola reaches the mountain top. Agent Pryor guides him over the radio. In the conference hotel on the summit, a congress is taking place, the participants of which were considered to be the thwarted attack.

Reviews

"Short of breath action thriller, predictable and dull due to the juxtaposition of genre clichés."

“All in all, 'Green Mail' is definitely recommended for every action fan. Although this is a B-movie and the film cannot keep up with the big Hollywood productions, 'Green Mail' offers exciting entertainment until the end. "

- Oliver Anter

"Oköpaxe are once again barely distinguishable from the Taliban in this staid and predictable, but sometimes quite effective bomb terror thriller of the brand 'blue or red wire?
