Leather washing
The Lederwasch were a Salzburger and z. T. Styrian painter family from the 17th to 19th centuries. A total of 18 painters from this family are known. Members of the family produced paintings and barrel painting for the church of St. Leonhard ob Tamsweg . The family lived in Tamsweg, where from 1670 to 1897 the St. Leonhard 1572 sacristan knew. Gregor Lederwasch owned the building, which was later used as the town hall, of which it was said to be "the most beautiful house in this market, and it is beautiful on the square."

- Gregor Lederwasch IV . (1727–1792), was a painter and geometer , he left 8 children
- Gregor Lederwasch V . (1752-1819)
- Johann Chrysostomus Lederwasch (older brother of Gregory II.)
- Johann Lederwasch (1755-1827), was a painter in Murau
- Johann Michael Lederwasch († 1779), son of Johann (not an artist) and grandson of Johann Chrysostom
- Seraphin Lederwasch (* 1771), younger brother of Gregor V.
